COULSDON AIR RAID SHELTER

It is possible that this air raid shelter was built not for the local residents but for the nearby Cane Hill mental hospital. Straight after the war it saw use as a workshop area for cars and other vehicles. The shelter is in a ditch, but the original entrance was backfilled.
