Dunkirk Bofors Tower
Canterbury Area

Near to the radar station at Dunkirk is a Bofors tower, so called because of the Bofors gun that was placed here to protect the station from enemy aircraft. Also in place here was a Lewis gun, mounted on a tripod. The inside of the building was for use by the men who manned the guns.

This site is in 3 parts due to size and complexity.
