THE PRINCE WILLIAM BARRACKS, FORT AMHERST

The Prince William Barracks are accessible via the dry ditch, and would have played an important part of the defence of the dry ditch system, should Fort Amherst ever have been attacked. Damage was sustained to the Barracks during a second world war air raid.
